The institution of knighthood stems from the holy orders established by the Pope of the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages. The word order' (from the Latin ordo) refers to a group of Catholic men bound by certain obligations who vow to observe rules for the good of others and the Church.
Our rules are in this website's “Who We Are” section. Our Order also includes guys who deeply desire to give back and drive change, helping to actively improve the lives of the elderly, the young, the sick, and the impoverished. We also understand and appreciate our blessings and want to be part of a social, faith-driven fraternity that contributes to good.
Our members are Catholic guys over 18 and from all walks and stages of life. You will find a place here, no matter your background or circumstances.
Becoming a Knight of the Southern Cross starts by contacting us. After an initial chat, we’ll invite you to join us at a few meetings. This will be a good gauge to see if we’re on the same page and if you’re ready to commit to being a Knight. We firmly believe it’s important you get to know us and we get to know you. If we’re the right fit for one another, we’d love to welcome you as a Knight of the Southern Cross. There is a nominal annual membership fee.
